John Jenft died at his home in Seattle Wednesday evening. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophia Young Jenft,
and twin sons, two and a half years old. Funeral services
will be held Friday morning at 9 o?clock in St James Cathederal.

Sophie's husband, John, died in 1927 when the twin boys were 2 1/2. She never remarried. Instead, she and her
sister-in-law, Olive, Daniel Young's widow, shared a house
together. They grew the most beautiful flowers in their yard in Sultan. Sophie was the first telephone operator in
Sultan. She later invested in real estate. The Jenft
Building still stands on Main St. in Sultan.
