- Balis Buck lived with his daughter Mickey & her mother for a few years, thereafter he had weekend visitations for a few years more.
Balis & Mickey were then separated for 14 years, not knowing either's whereabouts, before finding each other again, through Oregon friends, in 1950.
There was a question of Mickey's father's paternity, which was finally proven in a 2012 DNA testing between Mickey and her half-nephew, putting to rest all rumors, and proving William Balis Buck WAS her biological father.
