Felipe Santiago Tapia, born in Culiacan in 1745, brought his wife, Juana Maria Filomena Hernandes (or Juana Maria Cardenas) and the following children: Jose Bartolome, Juan Jose, Jose Cristoval, Jose Francisco, Jose Victor, Maria Rosa, age fifteen; Maria Antonia, age thirteen; Maria Manuela, age ten; and Maria Ysidora, age four.

      Jose Bartolome, who settled at San Luis Obispo was grantee of Topanga Malibu rancho in 1804. His son, Tiburcio, was granted Cucamonga rancho.

      Felipe Santiago Tapia was born in Culiacan in 1745. He brought his second wife, Juana María Cardenas (his first wife was María Filomena Hernandes) and the following children to Alta California: María Rosa, María Antonia, José Bartolomé, Juan José, José Cristoval, José Francisco, María Manuela, and María Ysidora

      José Bartolomé, who settled at San Luis Obispo was grantee of the Topanga Malibu rancho in 1804. His son, Tiburcio, was granted the Cucamonga rancho.
