      VALENTINA ENRIQUETA LOPEZ
BuenB [Msn. San Buenaventura Baptism*] Birth Date: 10/27/1852 - )
*Included also with FIGUEROA y LOPEZ because she was probably raised with her Figueroa half-brothers and -sisters if the identification is surmised as correct.
The mother in Buen B2 {Msn. San Buenaventura Baptism] was Policarpia, without surname and not called a widow.
It was usual at this time to say "of the Mission" if the Indians who had no surnames given to them and the padrinos were also Mission Indians. In this entry that was not included and the madrina was not an Indian.
The last Figueroa child in 1850 was baptized at Mission San Buenaventura, so she was probably still in the area for she was named there again as madrina in [a] Buen B [a different Msn. San Buenaventura Baptism]
