multi-village district. One person was baptized from "las rancherias de Quiguil [the villages of Quiguil]"
(SAN-B 1681). Some references mentioned locations on the sea shore, such as the "Mar por fa parte de
Quiguil [the portion of the sea shore in Quiguil]" (SAN-B 305), "Mar de Quiguil [the sea shore of Quiguil]"
(SAN-B 575), and "Rancheria del Mar de Quiguil [the rancheria of the sea shore of Quiguil]" (SAN-B 1087).
