      - Apr 1936 demolished after bldg deemed unsafe by local authorities by the federal Works Progress Administration (WPA).
         WPA salvaged "stones & hand hewn timbers" from the old church. Used them to construct what was then a municipal bldg & is now Oakland's public library.
