Notes |
Married:
- CORRECT FATHER OF RAMONA ALVITRE:
- UNSUBSTANTIATED but MOST LIKELY Jose Antonio Alvitre, son of Juan Alvitre and Tomasa Alvarado, is the father of Ramona ALVITRE.
- Ramona's Msn. S.G. 1850 confirmation record: father listed as Antonio.
- Ramona uses the last name of Alvitre in all her children's baptisms.
Therefore, her father's name must be Antonio Alvitre.
There were three Antonio Alvitre's living in L.A. at the time of Ramona's birth in between 1841-1843.
- 1. Jose Antonio Alvitre, b. 1803 married to Concepcion Amesquita
- 2. Jose Antonio Alvitre, Msn. S.G. 1831 confirmation, b. after 1817, son of Juan and Tomasa Alvitre, Msn. S.G. 1817 marriage
- 3. Antonio Maria Albitre, L.A. Plaza Church 1845 marriage to Juana Valenzuela.
- Jose Antonio Alvitre's 1831 confirmation record would place him in the similar age group as Ramona Alvitre's mother, Rita Bermudez. He is therefore the most likely candidate to be Ramona Alvitre's father.
We will leave this as stated until further information to the contrary becomes available.
