I've sent her a copy of your mail about your trip. It seems the best time is from around the middle of July. Anne says she expects you to stay with them, so you don't have to think about any hotel. We talked about maybe to take a trip to the place where your grandmother's mother came from, some distance south of Kristiansund. I've never been there, but my sister went there once with my father, just before he died. That is close to Alesund, which is a larger city than Kristiansund. My sister told me something I didn't know, actually, that Ole Bergh and his family lived for some years in Alesund, after moving from Trondheim, where my father was born. They lived there until after the great city fire in 1904, when they moved to Kristiansund, where your grandmother and the other children grew up. Your grandmother is born in 1903, and that makes me guess she was born in Alesund, not in Kristiansund as I've believed until now. Maybe we should do some research on that. - But then maybe we should go to Alesund as well. My mother's name is Edith Bergh, born June 26, 1918 in Kristiansund, maiden name Edith Sjolseng My name is E. O. Bergh, born J. 31, 1946 in Kristiansund My sister's name is Anne Margareth Bergh Aae, born February 3, 1942 in Kristiansund. Married to Ole Kolbjorn Aae, birth date later Then I have a brother, Reidar Sjolseng Bergh, born August 29, 1943 in Kristiansund And another sister, Solveig Marie Bergh, born A. 8, 1955 in Kristiansund E.
