BURIAL #2255) Feb 23, 1824, in the cemetery of Mission Purisima I gave ecclesiastical burial to the body of ESTEBAN, neophyte of Mission Santa Barbara and to (four) adults de razon, who died on the day or night of the 21st in the revolt of the neophytes; and because I am ignorant of the names they are omitted from this declaration. The neophyte being of Santa Barbara Mission, the others from the Pueblo of Los Angeles. None received the sacraments for they died in this same fighting in the night, therefore I consented to sign" Fr.
