      Julia Martinez de Estudillo was the wife of Jose Joaquin Estudillo. They were the founders of the City of San Leandro, California. They also built a hotel and donated several lots to the City. Their last home, located at 550 West Estudillo Avenue, is now California Historical Landmark No. 279 and is the site of St. Leander's Catholic Church, which owns this no-longer-active cemetery.
