A man and a woman were killed on U. S. highway 12 south of Lake Zurich last night when their car was forced into the path of another car by a third vehicle which left the scene.
Dead are Robert W. Huberty, 21, of 2604 South st., Rolling Meadows, and Miss Barbara Blackwell, 19, of 518 S. Dryden pl., Arlington Heights.
State police said they were southbound in U. S. 12 at Quentin road when a car pulled onto the highway from a tavern parking lot into the path of their car.
Swerves Into Auto
Huberty swerved into the northbound lane to avoid hitting the car and smashed into the car of Adolph Bashut, 29, of Island Lake. Bashut, suffered a broken leg and was taken to Condell Memorial hospital in Libertyville. Police are seeking the driver of the third vehicle.
